Asamaning Ambinintsoa Quansah
Asamaning Ambinintsoa QUANSAH is a young Malagasy aerospace engineer who recently graduated from a French engineering school. After growing up and studying in Madagascar until the end of his high school years, Asamaning had the chance to pursue his passion and earn a degree in aerospace engineering in France. During his 5 (five) years living and studying abroad, he started to pay close attention to societal challenges such as sustainable development. This shift in his attention resulted from his numerous interactions with students, entrepreneurs, researchers and senior executives. And, what he noticed through his discussions is that, though most people he talked to agreed that there were issues to tackle, they disagreed when coming up with solutions. However, when those people closely considered the areas where they disagreed and started a dialogue regarding their different views, they would progress towards a better solution than what each originally had. Thanks to this observation, Asamaning gained a strong belief that having an open dialogue will lead to the best solutions to current societal issues. Hence, he decided to assist in implementing a Madagascar instance of the Peace and Freedom Challenge, as it could be a great and inclusive dialogue starter to solve climate change and pandemics related problems.
